Goats

Hello, my name is Sam Sutherland. Today

I’m going to talk to you about goats.

A goat is a member of the Bovidae family and

closely related to the sheep. They are used for

milk, meat, skin and hair all over the world.

Females are called a Nanny, a Male is called a

Billy and a younger goat is called a kid.

Goats are among the earliest animals

domesticated by humans. Farmers began

to keep them for easy access to milk and

meat. They were also kept for their dung,

bones, hair, clothing, buildings, and tools.

Goats are said to be willing to eat almost

anything, except tin cans and cardboard

boxes. While goats will not actually eat it,

they taste just about anything resembling

plant matter in order to decide whether it is

good to eat, including cardboard and paper

labels from tin cans.

Most goats naturally have two horns, of various

Shapes and sizes depending on the breed.

Christianity has connected Satan with imagery

Of goats. Thank you for listening to my speech.
